Not what you would expect!
We booked a room for three adults through hotels.com which included free breakfast. Upon checking in we were asked for three passports. Then told we had a room with a king sized bed. When we stated we reserved 2 beds we were told there was not a room with two beds available. Meanwhile the client next to us was told they had a room with two beds and the client stated they reserved a king bed. Easy fix, just switch. But the clerk refused to do this stating we had a king room. How can three adults sleep in one bed, no common sense. Then we were told there was additional charge for breakfast. When we stated it was included they refused to give it to us. After a 30 minute check in process which is not what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber we were finally given a room which we had prepaid for in January. 15 minutes later they called the room to say they would give us the breakfast. (We already paid for it in our reservation.) The next morning when I could finally get into my hotels.com account and showed them the reservation they really did not care. We booked this hotel because of the caliber of hotel it was for after our Inka Trail Trek. We were exhausted and not feeling well and they made check in extremely difficult for a room that was already paid for. Otherwise the property is gorgeous and all of the other hotel staff extremely helpful. If I had to do it again I would go to the JW Marriott. I have emailed the hotel to discuss with no response!

The best hotel in Cusco!
We loved our stay at Palacio and didn’t want to leave! Everyone was so friendly, the hotel was beautiful, the bed was amazing, and the food at the restaurant was so delicious. And best of all, the rooms weren’t freezing like so many other hotels in Cusco during the winter months.
