Great for a college kid who has dumpster furniture
Negatives: The furniture in the room had big holes in the armrests and some stains. Carpet was well-worn. The place looked very well-used. Door looked like someone had tried to pry it off the hinges at some point in time. Furniture/room smelled musty. Positives: Staff was extremely friendly and efficient in their duties. It was nice to be able to walk right out and be on the boardwalk, listening to all of the music from surrounding venues. It was centrally located. Final Assessment: If you don't mind staying in a place that looks like a college kid's off campus house adorned with dumpster furniture, this is the place for you. If I had paid $50/night, I wouldn't have minded the place, but at over $200/night, that was really steep for what I described above. I should have taken pictures, but I didn't realize I would be reviewing the place.

Unclean Room
The description of the room did not match the advertisement. The room seemed ok at first but had not BEEN CLEANED! Room cleanliness was the most important item on my list. On the picture below, there was a yellow substance left over from another guest. It is absolutely unacceptable that the sheets had not even been cleaned. The only decent thing was the ocean view and it was not worth staying for. I got a refund and switched hotels.

Hotel staff called around 6:45 PM to make sure we were still checking in. told them we would be there in an hour or so. When we arrived around 8 PM the room was freezing! Call the lobby and someone came immediately To tell us that the heat to the building had to be turned on and the pipes would have to warm up before the room would warm up. Temp that night was in the 30's!!! Finally after about an hour we started getting some heat. Mind you they knew about an hour before we checked in that we would arrive in one hour. after getting that straightened out we looked over and noticed that the bed was not level. Took the mattress and Box Spring off (king bed)to find the frame broken. We rigged it up for the night and left the next morning. Check in a much nicer place for less money. I didn't even bother to go to the office and argue Because I just did not want to ruin my vacation. When we checked in we were told this was a very nice room! Did not even tell them that we had left, just called the morning that we were supposed to check out and told them we had left the keys on the dresser. I was not giving them the opportunity to double rent that room after we left. The staff was very friendly but that's about the only thumbs up besides the view
