Nice hotel with the best staff.
A nice, affordable hotel with such helpful & friendly staff. The were knowledgeable about different things to do in the area & provided me with numerous wonderful places to eat. The rooms were comfortable & the location was close to everything. I’d definitely recommend staying at this hotel & if I’m in the vicinity, I’ll definitely stay again!

Good Option for Low Budgets!
Hotel staff was friendly at check in/check out. I accidentally locked myself out of the room and it was quick and easy to get another keycard to get back in. Breakfast was not being served because of COVID but that was to be expected. Room was a decent size for two people. However, when we walked into the room there was a very distinct dog odor which leaving the window open helped clear out. My fiancé had a very rough time at night though because something kept him up coughing. He was fine in the bathroom and when we were out of the room so I’m not sure if it was a carpet issue or what it was. Room was fairly clean, but there was some dried blood on the wall in the bathroom and under the window in the main room that was definitely questionable. Bed was comfy enough. Pillows were nice. Parking was good. Would definitely stay here again if leaning toward a less expensive option for the night.

escanaba uncomfortableness
This was the smallest room, most uncomfortable bed, poorly maintained room I have had in my adult life. The only thing that was good was the pizza we got from across the parking lot.

great location but old worn out hotel.
Close to the main road in escanaba but run down 2 story hotel. The people staying there-no one wore masks in the lobby and hallway despite being in the middle of a pandemic. No breakfast either there and lots of crummy looking people outside of the lobby. Great location but us never stay there again.

Not a chance again.
It was a let down. Air conditioner ran consistently thru out the entire stay. Duck tape was present around the unit for sealing purpose. Had to use Kleenex as ear plugs. The room had a strong odor of like old disinfection spray. The bathroom tub facet leaked and had a yellow watering stain on the tub. Leave your shoes on the carpet is dirty.

Poor 2.0
Would not recommend
No masks worn by staff, no plexiglass barriers etc... Room was dirty and bedding was stripped laying in middle of beds. Did not stay even 5 minutes in room. Left property, requested refund through Denied by staff. Taking it up with corporate.

Not safe. False advertising. No hot tub or breakfa
Do not stay here! Paid for a motel with a Whirlpool and free breakfast. Got neither. The hot tub is cemented over. NOT SAFE. All exterior doors have duct tape over the locks so anyone can walk in anytime. Light fixtures without shades. Carpet gross. Lumpy pillows and mattress. Stay anywhere else.

Rethink this unless you want to burn your clothes.
Went to the hotel for a 3 day trip. After the second day thinking we had some intense mosquito bites, we did some investigating to find that there were bed bugs and we had been bitten all night. Bed bugs under the bed, bed bugs in the recliner, bed bugs in the headboard... we cancelled our last night and got a refund for one despite being infested with bed bugs. We had to drive back home, a 6 hour commute at 9pm after putting all of our clothes, bags, and personal items in trash bags do laundry and apply lotions to our bites. The entire event has lead to allergic reactions, trauma, and now a refund that does not reflect this. Not sure whose at fault for the refund, but to refund a night someone isn't staying, sure that's logical, but to not refund nights in which your negligence has given your patrons a parasite, one that is leaving welts and rashes, is absolutely unforgivable. If you're staying here, check the headboards, especially in room 224
