Great Family Venue close to Yosemite
Came with the family and had s great time. Did the night hike and archery with the kids (a lot of fun). Great shops (the gal from San Carlos was a dear and helpful) and the service in the restaurants as well was exceptional - food was well rounded and drinks were on point. Great fun in the pool and hot tubs - Front desk was a little off, but the rest of our stay was great. Saw a bear, fox and several dear in Yosemite and the falls and hikes are stunning.

Such a bummer.
I feel like this lodge is vey overrated. The ice skating rink was a joke. The restaurants were very expensive and not all were even open. When you advertise "complimentary crayons" for the restaurants, there's your red flag. Plus, they were out of crayons. LOL! Good luck finding towels at the pool, and the arcade is very run down, mostly full of the "claw" type games that are sure to just take your $. Check in is at 4pm, and although we arrived early, they told us we would have priority check in, and would call me when the rooms were available. It was 4pm, still no call, and 1 of the 2 rooms were still not ready. Very bummed anything and everything was an extra charge. (Except the gym and pool, but that's included in your additional resort fee).

The all-day guided tour was wonderful and well worth the money. We were very impressed with our guide and the quality of the new busses. The breakfast buffet had many good options for vegetarians, which we appreciated. At dinner, our server offered us the vegetarian menu from the neighboring restaurant which shares the same kitchen. Some menu items and drinks were pricey, but that is to be expected at a tourist destination. As for the room. Comfortable, but beware of the sliding barn doors that are supposed to close off the toilet/shower area. They get stuck when fully closed and we struggled to get them open at times.

Fun time
Check in was a bit slow but after that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grandkids were in seventh heaven and took off immediately for the pool and activities room. They also signed up for archery. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were good.
