Not worth the price
Room condition very worn. Shower very very small and not easy to use for a guest who's 6'5" tall and broad shoulders. Paid for Room with Spa but spa was questionable and not looking like it was clean. View from room is Incredible but the balcony door doesn't have curtains that black out and outside passers bye can see in easily with room light on.

We've stayed at this motel since the 80's. It's always been a nice place to relax. Unfortunately, this past visit was disappointing. Check-in was robotic at best. The construction was bearable but left us with no walking access to the ocean for one day. The worst was being woken up by the housekeepers loudly talking by the front door/window. No.

A good stay at a fantastic location!
The Lodge is located on the Bluffs in Fort Bragg, with a lovely view of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. We had a 2nd floor balconey room (all the rooms have balconey or patio facing the ocean). The location was perfect. Our room was a king bed with fireplace and jetted tub. On initial entry the room is gorgeous, kind of like a room in a palace. The feel was luxurious. The jetted tub was a luxurious, if dated, touch. Avacado green from the 80s probably, but it worked and felt lovely. I'm a big guy and I was able to enjoy a hot soak. Really, the room was enjoyable. 2 things I think it needs though. 1) the room gets warm in the summer afternoon pretty fast. The big picture window overlooking the ocean does not open, so the only ventilation is the door to the balconey. In order to get a good cooling breeze into the room we needed to open the door to the exterior hallway so breeze would blow through. Worked great, but they need a window or something in the hallway we could open instead of propping open the door. 2) the king bed was quite hard. I mean, my wife and I were both uncomfortable, and didn't sleep well. I think the hotel was in the process of replacing beds while we were there, so perhaps that will be addressed. Overall, the room is good, the view spectacular, the tub is great. It feels luxurious. Just needs some updates. Room had Kureig coffee A generous supply of creamer and sugat Microwave Refrigerator A large tv (that we didn't use. I mean, ocean!)
