Nice staff. AC leaked resulting in room change. Next room shower had drainage issues. No outside lounging area. In door, people visited in the breakfast area. Loved the location.

Super Friendly Staff & Comfortable Beds!
After a long 12 day road trip, this was out last stop. The staff was so friendly here that it was very refreshing. The hotel was in great condition and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great as well.

The Hyatt is usually a hit! This time they missed.
Booking was very easy. The hotel wasnt its best for the $400.The room phone didnt work, when checked in was NOT informed of anything the hotel offered, breakfast staff was not the friendly and the spider webs in the room were huge.

Great place to stay!!
Check in literally took 2 minutes, the hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the free breakfast and standard late checkout time of noon seems to be unheard of anymore. I have nothing but good things to say abt this stay.

why is this property rated so highly?
Note that this is a budget version of Hyatt - it is very similar to a Hampton Inn, but not as good IMHO. Pros included good location, nice room layout, excellent pool, and a very friendly staff. However, there are many cons, including: (1) the Internet was out for 18 hours, (2) one of the elevators was down the whole visit, the lobby bathroom was not cleaned for 5 days, (3) no daily linen service (even when we called for service every other day, we didn't get it), (4) the AC did not take humidity out of the room; the room smelled musty, (5) the breakfast was sub-par - no meat choices over the long weekend; only ham slices for meat during the week except the last day, when we had very salty sausages, (6) no cold water on the bar faucet, (7) no hand or body lotion, (8) the driveways entering the property needed resurfacing (you entered through a shopping center in one direction), (9) the ice maker was on another floor, (10) the garbage can outside the building overflowing with garbage every morning (until the last day) and was no regularly emptied, (11) the computer in the business center down the entire time; the printer did not have a USB slot, (12) no liner for ice bucket. Given all this, I could have gotten better accommodations down the road for half the price. I believe this property is suffering from being severely understaffed. Other chains, such as Hampton Inn, are cleaner and more effectively run.

No working system
Hotel could use some cleaning. The elevator door is so dirty that the had to throw a floor mat on top. The floors could use some cleaning. Where it is wet or dirty stays dirty the whole time I'm there. Their system was dead the whole time I'm there so I hooe they have it fix soon. The list of occupants was long so it seems its been dead a while.
