Hotel Features.
Constructed in 1923, Le Méridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh underwent a 36 million dollar renovation in 2008 which recaptured the Art Deco spirit of Dorothy Draper's original design. The lobby features marble pillars, hand-blown glass chandeliers, an original ironwork Art Deco-designed staircase, and a collection of works crafted by Texas artisans.

A 24-hour fitness center houses 4 resistance machines and 6 TV-mounted, iPod-compatible cardiovascular machines. There's also an outdoor pool. An onsite restaurant, Graze Restaurant, serves Texas-inspired cuisine for lunch and dinner with signature cocktails and an eclectic wine list. There is WiFi (surcharge) in public areas and a 24-hour business center.

Le Méridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh offers 176 guestrooms and suites distributed on 11 floors. Accommodations overlook the Uptown residential and entertainment districts. The guestrooms, designed by Forrest Perkins, are decorated in Art Deco style and display original Texas artwork. Custom mahogany furniture features marble-topped surfaces. Beds are draped with 300-thread-count sheets, down comforters, and custom throw pillows. Guestrooms and suites are offered in teal or cinnamon-red color schemes. Bathrooms feature black and white Calcutta marble floors, marble-topped vanities, chrome fixtures, and weight scales. Bathrooms are stocked with Baronessa Cali Oliva toiletries. Suites include sleeper sofas and swivel-mounted, flat-screen TVs.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced at a hotel
Upon arriving at 5:00 our room was still not available and we had to wait for it to be clean. We were already running late and going to the Star’s game at 6:00 so this was very inconvenient. Also when checking out they tried to charge me for valet parking which I did not use. I explained I didn’t use the valet and parked in the parking garage across street and he said he would take care of it. Three days later I still had a charge for valet parking, so I called and explained everything once again and once again they told me they would take care of it no problem. It’s been over a week and still no refund.

Great hotel. Stayed on a Thursday night. It was quiet after 11pm. Room was very big, clean and modern. Staff was very friendly. Would stay again.

Very Good8.0
Great place.
We had a great stay. Had some problems with room service coming to our room at 9pm and 3:30am when we didn’t order anything... especially since we had a small baby with us and they woke him up. Otherwise the hotel is nice and the staff is great.

If you want customer service, stay at The Crescent
The hotel facility is beautiful. The staff behind the front desk is not. Check in was fine, but during the course of the stay I was completely unsatisfied with the attitude of the front desk clerks. I requested a new room key be made for me as mine had been misplace after a night out. Normally a 2 minute ordeal- The woman at the front desk turned it into a 10 minute argument. Long story short, the check in was done incorrectly so my credit card was only on 1 of the 3 rooms that I purchased together. She finally obliged to giving me my room key. She said (verbatim), “Because you are being so argumentative, I’ll do what you want. But I’m writing this down in my report.” Having spent a total of $1,000 at Le Meridien, I would expect higher quality customer service. I tried contacting the manager and never got a phone call back. In the future, I’ll be taking my business 2 blocks away to The Crescent Hotel.

The manager Angelina was above accommodating to our needs. The cleanliness and condition of the "updated" rooms was the disappointment. The noise factor was also a disappointment.
