Grand piece of history!
What a grand old inn and piece of history! We love staying in old properties and not a chain. Property needs a lot of work. I hope it is forthcoming. But you cannot beat the location! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! We will be back!

disappointing stay at the Admiral Fell Inn - 05/23
There were no coat hangers at all in the room! No water glasses. Only a very thin cover on the bed and no extra blankets - we were cold! There was no phone in the room so that we could call down to the desk to ask for these things, and when we tried to call the hotel from our cell phones it almost always went to message. In the morning after our first night we asked at the front desk for these things - at least for hangers for our clothes. The manager said that he would make sure housekeeping would fix these problems but when we came back late afternoon, nothing had been done. We had to go down to the desk ourselves to get hangers, water glasses and blankets. In fact we had no housekeeping at all for the 3 days we were there. Only 1 towel each and no emptying of trash cans. On top of this there was no internet in our room. When we asked the manger he said "well I don't have it either, I think there must be construction going on." It turned out that it was working in the lobby though so his comments didn't make sense. The bathroom and doors, and even one wall in the bedroom had some kind of brown splashes on them. It was disgusting! Would absolutely never stay there again!

Old world charmer!
It’s always a pleasure to stay at the Admiral Fell. Room was pleasant and we like that we can open the window/windows. Also like that it is pet friendly. Close to everything and if you’re lucky you’ll find parking right outside.
