The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur

Overall, this was probably one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had anywhere. There really aren't enough superlatives to describe how good this hotel was. By Indian standards, the cost was high. But absolutely worth every penny. The facility is lovely and charming. Beautifully landscaped with plenty of wildlife (mainly birds) on the grounds. It's peaceful and tranquil; an oasis of calm in the middle of frenetic, chaotic India. I was welcomed straight away and they brought me in to do the check-in formalities. The staff were very friendly, courteous and approachable (and all spoke impeccable English). En route to the room, the hotel's general manager introduced himself and we chatted briefly. He took great pride in the property and was pretty hands-on; it really showed. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy and also made me feel welcome. The room itself was great. The hotel grounds were lovely. There were peacocks everywhere. The hotel also has a helipad, tennis courts, a pool, spa and a temple. The food was excellent as well. Very happy with my stay here and I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Jaipur.

The best resort out there may be in the country has everything from well trained and professional staff to range of facilities such as tennis court , golf course, croquet and this property is way big enough 32 acres to get lost around , they also have a jogging track in there , a must visit ,also helipad available

The Oberoi Rajvillas was outstanding! Our last stop before heading home. Everyone was so gracious, food and spa incredible, we ended up spending two extra nights to enjoy the amenities.

Great service, great rooms. We were made very comfortable especially my daughter who has food allergies. Every server knew about her allergies and took care. She was very happy
