I travel all over the country for work, i've stayed in beautiful hotels and awful ones. My stay in Fort Lauderdale was pleasant because of Embassy suites. The rooms were nicer than average hotels and the staff were very friendly. The only negative thing about the hotel was the restaurant closed early. When you work all day and you cant grab a bite at the hotel because its closed, it can be frustrating. Luckily the pub accross the street has a good Shepherds pie!

NO REFUNDS for Safety issues NO VALET
I was traveling solo and decided to spend night in Atlantic City. I booked room through hotels.com I went to hotel which was 7 min away. When I got there I realized they did not have on site parking and when I pulled up the Valet was closed. I was not comfortable with walking from parking garage at convention center to hotel alone. I verified with Gwen their manager that was the case and told her I wanted to cancel my reservation because I didn't feel safe staying here. She told me there were no refunds. I told her that I didn’t book with her and I would call hotels.com. They called her and she refused to refund me and lied to them and said they had onsite parking. I didn’t get a refund and I didn't stay there..

Centrally located.
My stay was good. The front desk associates were very pleasant and attentive. What I found to be awesome is that they have a microwave and a mini fridge. That was definitely a plus. My room was really spacious with a really nice view of the outlets and the casinos. One complaint I do have is in regards to the hotel not providing free WIFI. Sheraton is a Marriott Brand Hotel therefore, I can not understand why they do not provide WiFi for free. They only provide a free basic WiFi, that you can use to check your emails. Otherwise you have to sign up for a third party WiFi service that costs approximately $7 for a few hours or $15 - $20 per day. I have stayed in basic Hotels/Motels who have provided full service WIFI. I found that to be a bit weird for a Marriott Brand. In 2023 everywhere provides free WIFI. However, over all I had a good stay. They are also in a great location literally steps away from Tanger outlets and walking distance to Bally's and Caesars. I would definitely stay again. Just ask for a non connecting room. Other wise you will hear everything your neighbors say and do in the next room through the adjoining doors and vice versa. My neighbor kept opening and closing their side of the adjoining door that was scary. If possible I will request not to have adjoining rooms in the future unless I know my neighbors. I am not sure if every room is an adjoining room at this Hotel.
