Staycation in my own city for the footy. Wonderful reception upon arrival. Plenty of shopping and eating nearby. Room 213 had a great view and plenty of room even for a couple. Nice beverage upon checking into the room. Will stay again for the Freo vs ESS match.

Probably wouldn’t return.
The hotel was fine, quite dated and could do with some updates. I was disappointed that I booked as a Gold member of hotels.com and advised I would receive a complimentary bottle of wine and possible room upgrade to be given a single 500ml bottle of water and told they don’t serve alcohol. Location is good but wouldn’t return.

Perth stay
Pensione is my usual hotel to look at staying at when visiting Perth. As the rooms state they are petite so there is not much room around the bed even for storing of luggage unless you place under the desk area. Rooms are pretty well quiet although if you are located at the back be prepared for loud music (fri-sat night) from the bar below. It always stopped at midnight. Centrally located and an easy walk to both the main shopping areas as well as train station. Usual tea/coffee facilities restocked each day. Bathroom a bit tired looking that a bit of regrouting could help improve. Overall l am always happy with my stay here . I was able to check in slightly earlier but disappointed my perk of free drink not offered during stay. Happy to recommend and would stay again.

Great location. Very small room but clean. Few outlets to plug in electronics and no outlets in bathroom to blow dry hair, which was a pain. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
