    Great hotel
This is a good spot to stay if you are going to stay in the downtown Portland area . The location is a little questionable but once you get in the hotel it’s very safe . Super easy check in and nice accommodations . The breakfast was good with lots of options . My kids loved the pool , definitely a hit !

    Disappointing Stay
The location of my room was nice, in that I was placed in a nice quiet area (less traffic), as requested. This I greatly appreciated. However, the noise from the HVAC system was obnoxious and did not allow for a comfortable sleep. I called down the first night and a technician came at 9 PM to fix the unit since it was making a horrible vibration sound. He had to leave right away since he forgot his screw driver. ??? Upon his return he declared it was an old filter that hadn't been changed since 2017 - ugh. He had to leave again to get a new filter. Wait again. After installing the new filter, the noise was still there, so he tweaked something so there was less vibration and he left. However, the noise returned when we were in bed. The next morning, we used the shower and the tub refused to drain correctly so we were standing in ankle deep water. I reported this the next day when we left the hotel in the morning, and they said they would fix while we were gone. Nope. Still had the vibrating HVAC and the slow draining tub (no change whatsoever). When we departed that second morning and was asked about my stay, I said it was not the best and proceeded to state again the issues. Three women were there and just took down the information with no sincere apology or offer to reduce the rate I was to pay. Not even slightly. I would have been happy with just the gesture of offering $20 off per night. Food subpar with limited options for healthier eating. $250+/night so not worth it.
