Pictures can be worth a 1000 words, maybe not.
The images that we viewed on the hotels web site were very nice, perhaps enhanced or staged for the photo shoot? The are not reality, that is for sure. The room we were given was not at all as depicted by the hotel. Our room was barren, the walls empty, hooks and nails left in place, I guess where art / mirrors once hung? The paint was chipping off the walls, water had caused the ceiling plaster to peel and hang down. There were wood blinds over the windows but nothing to block the east sun in the mornings. The bathroom was small, the tub discolored, tile chipped, water drained very slowly. Hot and cold water varied during each shower. Toilet needed several flushes. The window unit did a pretty good job keeping the room cool. The furniture was disgusting at best. Wood tops stained and chipped. Not one decorative item was in the room. The sitting area had a dresser, a sofa and loveseat, cocktail table and one floor lamp. The cocktail table was about to fall apart, discolored and chipped. The bed was very comfortable, sheets and towels very nice. We were there for only one night, thank goodness. Next time we are in the area we will be a little more careful about our hotel selection.

Well worth the drive through the mountains, but stay as long as you can because there is so much to do and see in the area.

The room we stayed in was horrible. There was an extension cord with duct tape on it running from inside our room to the security cameras outside in the hallway. You couldn’t open the bathroom door all of the way because it hit the bed and you couldn’t get the curtains to close all of the way.

A Dump For A High Price.
Stayed here only because it is a historic hotel - don't make that same mistake. For $189 + tax got a room with no heat, hot water (?) that didn't need any cold to temper it for a shower, the same dead bugs on the bathroom window were there when we arrived and left and there was barely enough light in the room to read by. Very slow internet connection. I have stayed in much better Motel 6's for $40. The staff was pleasant but could not do anything about the issues. Seedy is the general condition. Hotels.com should delist this place as it reflects very poorly on them.
