The hotel has recently been remodeled and looks nice. Breakfast was good with enough options to get you going on your day. When I went to take a shower the first morning I noticed a wash cloth behind the door that had been left by the last guest. When they cleaned the room later that morning they still did not notice the washcloth on the floor behind the door but did take my towel that I had hung up even though their sign said if you want to reuse it hang it up - so much for ecofriendly. I had stayed there before it was a Marriott but had always been on the river side and was surprised by how much road noise there is on that side of the hotel during the night. I stay in the area every week but will probably not return to this one.

Quick Getaway
Nice getaway with the hubby. Beautiful view of the river and the city. Riverboat coming by during the night was beautiful. The breakfast was not as good as most Fairfield hotels so we went to Frischs which was right up the street. The front desk clerks were very nice and suggested places to eat. Loved the customer service

Great location; updated property
Very impressed with the ease of check-in. Associate was professional. Room with a river view wonderful; clean modern bathroom & quality linens on the beds. Complimentary breakfast had some healthy options. Concerns: When walking the property in the morning, some of the fire doors to the stairwell were either jammed/locked. Minor issue: snack crumbs under the desk, noisy neighbors (pounded on the wall at 3:00 am to get them to shut up. That helped.) Overall a good experience.
