It appears the overall quality of the hotel has gone down over the years. I used to stay here for business about 10 years ago. Wow what a difference: 1.when I checked in, the person checking me in barely say anything to me, much less had any eye contact. 2.when I went around to the back to get to my room, the outside door was cropped open and I immediately had safety concerns 3.I found a pen on the floor of my room as well as a child's ball 4.(this really isn't anything the hotel can control) but the people around me during the night were loud, doors slamming quite a bit, children up running around. I almost wondered if families were living there (which I understand can happen from time to time and I am perfectly fine with that, but please respect the rights of others who are trying to rest. not to mention the fire alarm went off at 4am and I had no idea if it was a real scenario or not I doubt I will return to this hotel(which is unfortunate because it is one of only a few in the Madison area that offers shuttle service which I have used before

Travel troubles
Was there for 4 nights and not once did they come in to freshen up the room. I even had to go to the front desk and ask for more towels. Continental breakfast was at best average. Twice during my stay, the fire alarm went off! Never did hear why they went off!!

We love this hotel
We stay at this hotel often when we visit Madison. The kids enjoy the pool and we like the hot tub. There’s a little game room too, although some of the games were out of order on this stay. We always sleep well here. Nice hotel and affordable too.
