My second home in Dublin
I love the North Star, it is the only place I really like to stay in Dublin. However, once in a while the cleaning products they use to clean the premises cause me to have a very uncomfortable allergic reaction.

North Star Hotel Dublin - You deserve the best!
Since 2014 the North Star Hotel has undergone major expansion, refurb and total commitment to delivering top quality upper 4 stars product. Situated adjacent to Dublin’s inner City Financial Services Center I have no hesitation in highly recommending this outstanding hotel for visitors to Dublin. I myself am a Dublin born retiree now resident in the USA with 43 years in the tourism industry with a sound basis to recognize top quality. This is now my first choice on selecting a Dublin hotel, which I do twice annually ! ☘️☘️☘️

Nice hotel in a great location.
Nice hotel in a great location. Clean modern rooms with a great bar and restaurant attached. Only down side was no in site parking but the friendly gentleman at concierge pointed me to the Connelly Station car park. Check in and out was a breeze.

Not great for families or people with disabilities
Not so good. We were traveling with family, so we had two automobiles each with a handicap person. There was nowhere to park to get people inside of hotel. We turned on emergency flashers and got wheelchairs into the lobby as well as luggage, all as quickly as we could, since we were in a no parking zone. At that point we were informed the hotel had no parking. The nearest public lots were 3 blocks away in a questionable neighborhood. Once the cars were parked in the public lot and we trekked 3 blocks in the dark under dark viaducts, we found the rest of our party waiting for rooms in the lobby. The desk clerk said someone would be there to help us, but he had no luggage cart and our Belleek dinnerware hit the marble floor and broke two porcelain cups. We required two rooms, my sister's air conditioning did not work and during the night, water dripped from the ceiling onto the carpet outside the bathroom. When we told the desk clerk about the problem, they said that since we made our reservations with, (a third party), they could not make any adjustments to the bill. They offered to buy lunch in the restaurant, but we were leaving for the airport at 9:00 am. All in all, a bad review to the North Star Hotel and to

Hotel was very nice. Reception staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was nice, but a little tight on space. Facility was very clean and nicely appointed.

Hotel was 1 mile from 3arena and suited our needs, would stay there again as Connelly station is literally across the street. Car park was a bit of a walk and don't forget to feed the meter or face the car being booted!
