Great hotel with excellent staff
It was overall a great stay. Only a couple of minor things, there was a cigarette pack left in the bin, and there seem to be a cap under the door, which meant that you heard every conversation in the corridor liek you were standing next to them. This wasn’t a massive problem though as it seemed everyone was there for the marathon so was generally quiet after 10pm. There was also a fair few smoker by the entrance which was ideal if you don’t like smoke, but none of these issues rained the stay. Staff was excellent, helpful and friendly

Average hotel. At check-in the clerk just looked up and said "Yes?". It seemed like I was disturbing her (Sep 6 ~2PM). They also tell you that they don't clean the rooms daily and service is only on request. But even after I requested clean-up service, when I returned after a long day out the room was not cleaned. I called housekeeping and they came in and just moved the sheets and added fresh towels. They left the damp bath mat on the floor.

Well-placed for a five-day stay in Berlin; there's an U-Bahn station a few yards along the road, giving access to the whole city. Tiergarten and the Zoo are a short walk away, as is the famous Kurfürstendamm. Plenty of places to eat nearby if you want to stay local.

Bathroon extremely tight. Diffiult to shower & Dry and wc smack against sink. Most staff excellent and helpful One man not so much, eg- he told me my bill was settled (checked computer) then next day said not so. Good breakfast. towels not always available in sauna.

For me, this is located at a convenient location, easy to commute to conference, travel, walking distance to Sbahn and other travel options. The staff were friendly and very helpful answering my questions. There is also a shop by the reception to quickly buy any food, drinks or toiletries. The water, which is what most people need regularly, was expensive but there is a supermarket 2 mins walk away to go and get it cheap. What I didn't like is the fact that the cupboard in the room was tiny to store clothes easily. While I agree that there is no need to change sheets/towels every day, the bin wasn't emptied either. Overall, I quite liked it and would probably book again in future.
