Great place to stay in central Launceston
Always wanted to stay here and had the opportunity last Friday night. Very centrally located, friendly reception, great buffet breakfast and very comfy bed. Disappointed that a bottle of water cost nearly $3 and was not complimentary and also that 1ply toilet tissue was supplied. I don’t believe these constitute 4 or more star hotel ratings. Otherwise our stay was great!

Holiday stay in Launceston
The GC Launceston is very centrally located with a daily cost for onsite parking. The restaurant for meals - breakfast; lunch; dinner and snacks is very good and well priced. All staff are friendly with a couple being exceptional. They are required to wear masks and there is regular cleaning. A minor issue was dealt with immediately and satisfactorily. Happily stay again.

Austere room. But adequate. Very nice foyer! Signs of pressure on staff to work too quickly and forget things. Parking in public car park is a tight squeeze and can be problematic. Location is good.
