Pro: None. Con: Mold on the bathroom ceiling. The wall is so thin, not only you can hear the flush or shower from the other rooms, you can hear their fart, and the sound of the poop dropping. When people shower, it's so loud, it literally feels like you're in the same room as them. The soap is so thin, it broke apart. You would think they'll give you more if you have 4 guests. The towels have the smell like when you've left them in the closet for a very long time. It has the texture of something you haven't use in a very long time. The water pressure from the shower head is minimal. The iron is actually located under the sink. Why is it under the sink. And there's no ironing board. The breakfast is free because there was no breakfast!!! Same goes for the Wi-Fi. THE FRONT DESK IS CLOSE FROM 10pm-6AM.. There's nobody to complain to about the noise from the other guest. I'm staying on the first floor, I had to go to 2nd floor to request the guest to tell their children to stop jumping. Even after the father apologized, The noise continued until morning. Outside it looks pretty, but inside is garbage. The service is garbage, and structure is garbage. The internet is garbage. 90% is cannot connect and 10% wifi connection status is at 14% Even just depending on your mobile data requires you to step outside the street to get a connection. I'm only allowed 1500 characters. So view the rest of review on Yelp and Google Map. Long story short. Do not go here!!

Our night at Monarch Inn was pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable and the front desk service was friendly. The lobby area leaves a little to be desired, but our room was nice. I would stay again if in the area.

    Stay in Mariposa.
The hotel was fine but the rooms do not have closets- no where to hang up clothes. Hotel did have micro wave and small fridge. Shower was great- wish I had that shower head for my own home.

    Poor 2.0
Staff at check in was rude and incompetent. The first room we got was directly across from the laundry room, and the noise was unbearable. The second room was also loud, and the window looked at a wall. The bed was terrible. And they charge extra for a baby crib. Do not recommend.

Great location, nice little botique hotel
My boyfriend and I visited this cute little hotel on our way back from Yosemite. We were looking for a dog friendly hotel and this was one of the few options in the area. However, we really enjoyed it and are going to visit again.

Rooms could use some updating. Breakfast area very small. No microwave for oatmeal. Coffee was instant coffee, not my preferred choice. Nice location right in the downtown area of Mariposa.
