We stayed here so we could be close to the Montparnasse station and it was perfect! The location was great for what we were looking for. The hotel was perfect, very clean, great amenities and absolutely wonderful staff. They also serve breakfast but we ventured out to local boulangeries that were easily within a 10 minute walk. Safe, easy and great location for a single mom and her kids. Loved that it never felt touristy and was right next to a Metro station to get to any sites and a quick walk to the Jardin des Luxemburg. Very good 6-night stay! Few steps away from a metro station, and 10 min walk from RER B. Good restaurant next door and many more in the Montparnasse area. Small shop also close by. Great shower pressure and good aircon for the Paris heat wave. Fridge had free drinks and snacks for the first night. Did not try the breakfast as I had to leave to work before 7 am. Overall, high recommendation for your Paris visit.

After staying in a not quite right apartment for the first part of our stay, we sincerely appreciated the large, tastefully-decorated and clean room at the Hotel Aiglon. Large for Paris, that is. There was side table for having coffee, although it was a little tight. The bathroom was large with two sinks and a shower. It was very clean and modern. I was pleased to have AC during the heat wave. There is a nice waiting room downstairs with comfortable chairs. And an elevator, which was very convenient. All in all, a good boutique hotel. The staff was so helpful! We appreciated the convenient minibar downstairs as it had sodas, beer, wine, liquor and also snacks for a not too far from market price. We did not have the hotel breakfast - those seem ridiculously expensive everywhere - but the cafe next door had a nice coffee and croissant. The location was right across from the #4 and #6 metro, making it convenient to reach all the sights from this quiet neighborhood. It is a 15-minute walk from the Gare Montparnasse, and near creperies and a Japanese restaurant district. We would definitely stay here again, but perhaps get a suite next time.
