Great time, thank you!
I had a lot of fun! I love the design of the hotel and how old it is. I honestly repeatedly tripped on the door framing from our bathroom to our room, but once I got used to how strange it was I was fine. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean. Hallway could have used some detail cleaning but all in all we had a great time. We LOVED the balcony outside we had morning coffee on. Parking behind the building is easy to find and right there. Breakfast was a bit simple. Beans, eggs, sausage, cereal, fruits.

Off season getaway
My wife and I did a mini off season trip to Halifax. Beautiful historic hotel in walking distance to all of the downtown restaurants and attractions. Front desk was great in calling taxis (for airport and casino) Only negative: we had to open the window-in January. The TV was small. We were fine with that. (The millennials may have a breakdown). The "continental" breakfast was much more than expected. Cold cuts and hard boiled eggs! It really is a classy place if you want a quiet, dignified place to stay in Halifax

A Hidden Joy
We were in Halifax for a concert, just the one night, but what a great place to stay. 3 converted town houses with excellent rooms, a good size, comfortable beds, clean throughout. Great showers and a proper coffee maker in a Keurig. They even have a small selection of snacks and drinks in the room at very reasonable prices. Would defiantly stay again and recommend to friends visiting Halifax.
