Affordable Vacation!
Metro Plaza Hotel is a good economy and business class place to stay in LA. It's just a short block from Union Station and you can see it's sign from across the street. The rooms are well-lit, have air with a remote and Spectrum TV. There is also a nice-sized bath/ shower. Two thumbs up!

Poor2.0
Locked out with no one attending the front desk.
Check in was easy and we were allowed to check in early. The room was fine but the air conditioning wall unit broke down and the room was extremely hot. Had to open a window but it was really noisy outside. When we left the hotel in the evening and returned all the entrances were closed and locked. There was no one at the front the desk and found ourself outside in the street with lots of homeless and sketchy looking people. Walked around the corner and found the parking gate which I had to jump over in order to unlock it and get into the hotel. Horrible experience.
