Santa Monica Find
Really great find in wonderful Santa Monica location. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Convenient, free parking is terrific. My only wish is that there were lamps in the room. Having only overhead lighting for the whole room is not great.

Run-down and charmless
This hotel looked cute in its pictures, but when we got there, it was totally run down and charmless. The room was a little bit dirty when we arrived. Everything gave a sense of neglect and lack of upkeep. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but not too awful. The people at the front desk weren't very helpful and sometimes argued with me (like when I asked for an additional key) or repeatedly made the same unhelpful suggestions (like when I asked if a lost object had been turned in.) Parking was easy, and the location was pretty good. This hotel is *fine* for a night or two, but it's not a good place for a romantic or relaxing week's stay.

Great hotel
The hotel is in a great neighborhood wake me on the street from the beach. It’s very clean, and the balcony views are to die, for I would highly recommend.
