Always a refreshing trip to historic Ligonier. The town is quaint and the Fort exciting. But Idlewild is the goal.

I believe this is the only hotel in that area. Pros. Lobby is very nice to look at, looks nice. The check in and check out was great. The hot breakfast is really good, a lot better than most hotels. We had a suite so it was good size. Nice high ceilings in our room. Cons There is a musty smell as soon as you walk into the hotel, pretty strong. I did not notice it in my room, but definitely as I came into hotel and check in/out. The cable wires hanging out around tv were also an eye sore. And the pool area could use a good power washing.

The pool was not operational, the restaurant was closed, the wait time just to have a clerk at the counter was 10 or 15 minutes whenever I first got to the hotel. The breakfast was not really that edible.

Great!! My husband and I have stayed here before, its the only hotel around and it was horrible. This time was really good. The hotel has been cleaned up, the breakfast was nice and the staff was wonderful! It appears to be the same people running it and I am happy to say we will be back.
