The Pines Resort, Bass Lake
A treat for those wanting to get away.
My love and I were just trying to get away for the weekend, and although we were hoping for snow, we still have a blast. The resort is really a little village, with shops, post office, restaurants and a bar that was open late. The bartender at the bar was AMAZING! As for a "sex with a bartender" the next time you go. She now knows how to make it. Also, Figzy the DJ was such a treat! Good music, dancing adn karaoke was such a highlight for us. The people were all so sweet, and the room was cozy.

No hot water
The property was okay. However, our family wasn’t able to take shower since we didn’t have hot water. They changed the room, but we had same issue in new room. They told us to keep wait until we have hot water. I wouldn't recomend this place to anyone

Very Good8.0
Great for no frills
The Pines is great for a no-frills retreat. If staying in the suites, ask for a room on the 2nd floor so you make sure to have the promised "lake view". Collette at the front desk was so sweet and personable. She's a great welcome to the hotel. Our room had no hot water in the shower that w didn't realize until it was time to jet out of the room, so it didn't get resolved. Just make sure to check the water and heater as soon as you check in. The view was pretty and the room had a great set up with a sleeper sofa and the bed, so you could get a family all in one room.
