Really enjoyed the hotel and its staff. Great location for sightseeing. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Great view from our window. Personally would like to have more than 1/2 tub coverage for the shower. Typical setup for Europe but it always seems to get water all around when showering. Would highly recommend this hotel would stay again.

poor value for money
This was my first visit to Budapest; choice of hotel was dictated in part by cost, but I thought that I had a reason to expect decent comfort for the price. The room was so small access to the bed was from one side, nowhere to put luggage, bathroom small and not particularly clean - view out of the window showing ugly rooftops... I think Budapest hotels are generally overpriced but this one was very poor value for money.

Perfectly Poised in Prague :)
From start to finish, the Grand Hotel Bohemia was a shining example of great service and well appointed European-sized rooms. We had a "Superior King" room, I believe, and what it lacked in excess space and view, it made up for with the most comfortable bed and deep bathtub of our vacation! Yay! The slim gentleman with the shaved head that checked us in was beyond well-mannered and well-spoken, as were the ladies at breakfast. The Czech people have mastered English, but especially so at the GHB. The staff were just brilliant in executing a high-end level of service. The lobby could do with a touch of refurbishment, but the dining room and our room were perfect in achieving the modernized classic antiquity to go along with Prague itself. The breakfast buffet was divine for this American who likes her waffles with some maple syrup and hot chocolate/OJ--it's that little touch of home to relax you into the day. Super well-priced smorgasbord; highly recommended. As is expected in Europe, the room had little spare space, yet it was compensated for with the small amenities as well as simply using the space efficiently (storage, desk, nightstands, mini-fridge all accounted for) and stylishly so. "Clean with rich materials used throughout," would describe GHB as a whole. The subtle elegance and luxury of GHB, and its employees, is perfect for low-key travelers needing a safe place to hide away after the sensory overload from the beauty at the heart of Prague.

Perfect!
Quick one night stay in Prague. Free breakfast was good; hotel staff was amazing, kind and helpful. We forgot our phone charger in room and they are mailing it back to us in the States for free. Great AC as well.

Great hotel in perfect position.
Great hotel, executive room choice well worth it. Very large room with views down cobblestone street. Bathroom very nice but small. Furnishings top notch. Mattress could be improved but comfortable. The staff were extremely nic, well trained and service was much quicker than expected. Breakfast very good quality and wide selection. Bar outdated and smoking allowed. Did not attend dinner as menu was not attractive and it was empty. I regretted changing hotels to meet a tour. (Do not stay at the President compared to this one).
