I will stay again.
I have stayed here before so I knew what to expect. GREAT location. Just park and enjoy the services of Peninsula Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria. Starbucks is down the street. Bedding was very comfortable, and drapes black at all light for sleeping. They do need to know not to give you 2 Decaf coffee pods and that is it. Why would I drink decaf in the morning. It completely defeats the purpose. $37 a night for self park is a bit expensive and should be explained in the reservation process.

Tired, old hotel—not up to Beverly Hills standards
I was VERY disappointed in our accommodations at Maison 140. The room was tiny and dingy-not at all like the photos on the website. It was difficult to find space in the room for two suitcases. Our room was next to the elevator and was noisy all evening and early in the morning. Upon checking in, we were notified there would be an additional “resort” fee of $57 which covered bottled water and a discounted hired car fee-basically nothing useful. Also beware of the fine print: parking in the adjacent lot is another $37 per day. (The check in clerk told us at check in that there are better rates availability direct from the hotel.) On the plus side, the hotel’s location is close to shops and restaurants. We would have included photos but queen size room was extremely small with what was essentially a mattress on the floor. There was no room to stand at a good angle to take a photo. In summary, I will never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

As expected
For the price and location this was great! Friendly staff that was helpful. The smell of the place wasn’t great. Bring a candle. The location and simplicity was convenient. Room was very small & would t work for more than one occupant.

Just needs a little love
This hotel just needs a little love. The room was small but adequate. (To give you an idea how small, my husband's shoulders touched the shower walls.) The room was spotlessly clean. Parking was excellent, in a lot directly next to the hotel.
