Nice Hotel Once Renovation is Completed
We were told by the front desk upon check-in that the upper floors of the hotel are undergoing a renovation. Unfortunately, we were on the first floor. Our room was in desperate need of an update. The toilet didn’t flush most of the time and we couldn’t get the tv to turn on. On the positive side, the hotel location was good and the hotel was keep very clean.

Great location and very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and lovely location. Only complaint would be the internet - it was very weak and kept dropping.

Lovely building, outdated rooms
The staff is amazing--helpful, friendly, accommodating. The hotel itself is just a bit dated and run-down. It's a lovely old building in a great location, but it does not appear to have been updated since it opened in the early 1990s. Also, a warning: some of the rooms are located on the interior, with windows facing into a gray, dark air shaft, so there's no outside light. These interior rooms also seem to be quite loud, perhaps located near the laundry or the kitchen, as quite a bit of noise started up around 7 am and continued all morning. If you book, make sure to request a room with an external wall/window. This place has potential, it just needs some work. I read somewhere that a renovation is expected soon--stay here after that!

Great hotel and location
The stay overall was fantastic. The hotel was very nice, we had great service from the friendly front desk staff and the location was an easily walk-able distance to all of Dublin's main attractions. The only issue we had with our stay was that it sounded like the room above us was undergoing some construction, but we were out touring most of the city during the day so it was only a slight annoyance during the morning. It wasn't loud enough to warrant us asking for a different room, but it would have been nice to know in advance.
