Bristol Hotel - A Greystone Hotel, San Diego
Exceptional
Great except for the price of parking.
The hotel was beautiful and I loved the Beatles theme in out room. The only downside is the very expensive valet parking. We were charged 32 per night and were not prompted about alternative choices by the staff.

Good
Underwhelming
The room was renovated poorly. Lots of noise from contractors in the morning. The manager was not friendly or professional.

Great value!
PROS: Great location, squeaky clean, great service. CONS: There was no breakfast available. Coffee ended too early. Overall: Great value

I don’t have complain whatsoever about the cleanliness, service, room, location, etc.. but what I do have a complain about is how thin those walls are. I understand that everyone comes back to their room a little too happy from the gaslamp but when I say those walls are thin, I mean it. It was about 2 am when the girls next to my room arrive & they were singing, yelling, what sounded like jumping around; I let them be but once 3 am hit I couldn’t take their screaming so I called the front desk & they were nice & quick enough to notify them about their noise level. However, 330 am came & the noise was back up & once again I called downstairs & when I say the walls are thin I mean it, I was able to hear their phone ringing, mind you they have music playing & singing was going along while I was hearing the phone ring -_- I didn’t visit sleep through the night, whatsoever. So the next morning was a tough one. I unfortunately wouldn’t stay at this hotel again simply because those walls are ridiculously thin. I’ve stayed at other hotels near the gaslamp district & I’ve never had this problem; I just wanted to give this hotel a try because it was closer but I would rather walk an extra 2-3 blocks knowing I will get a restful night than go through this again.

Highly Recommend
Clean, Super Quiet, Very Comfortable, & Great Location! Plus, a great price to boot! If I had anything to say bar is small and bartender didn't have or ran out of bloody mary mix?? I freakin' loved the coffee machine! Very impressive! I had lattes, cappuccino's and it was excellent. Workout room was more than adequate.
