Definitely recommended
The room was comfortable, if smaller than we prefer. Enjoyed the breakfast (as always) with multiple options for gluten-free or dairy-free dietary needs. The pool was kept relatively clean (and warm!); however, multiple people ignored the signs about food and drink prohibitions in the pool area. We didn't mind that multiple people drank canned beverages while we were there, but kids eating pizza while walking around in the wading section of the pool was not real cool. I don't mean to be the pool police, but that's just what we noticed. We've always loved our stay at Hampton--and this place in particular. Definitely would stay again.

2/10 Poor

Fire in the hotel.
There was a fire in the laundry room of the hotel during our stay. The whole hotel was evaluated for a few hours. The hotel staff seemed unsure of what to do and didnt direct or communicate with guests at all. We stood outside in the cold for almost an hour before the fire department told us we could go wait inside the hotel next door to warm up. Even once they let guests back in the staff seemed a little lost- definitely a difficult situation, I know, but didnt check in with guests at all. Aside from all that, the hotel was just ok. Rooms were clean, but small and loud. Kids running in the halls, etc, up until 10pm. Hallways and pool area weren't very clean. Breakfast wasn't great- options but not very good. Fire aside, we probably wouldn't stay there again.

Our room was really clean and comfortable. There were a lot of kids there, but once in room, we never heard them. Breakfast buffet and eating area was well-kept.
