Basic comfortable and clean
We stopped here on the way to Sydney. This city is undergoing renovation. There are great restaurants, bars and beaches.

Bit tired but pretty good
The building and decor were generally a bit tired and could do with a re-vamp, for example there was a spillage stain on the carpet next to the fridge and the corridor carpets smelt a bit musty. It's based on a busy junction so you can hear the traffic from the front. A bit further away from the centre than I thought it would be, and not an area I felt particularly safe in at night, however no shortage of places to find food albeit fast food) good for buses and supermarkets, the room size was good, and the staff were all polite, friendly and helpful so overall not too bad

NEEDS A MAKEOVER & MAINTENANCE
Its one of the worst travelodges I have stayed at. It didn't appear to have been vacuumed. We had to change from the first room we were allocated as the shower was heavily leaking. The bathrooms are smelly and need a makeover.
