The Daniel, Brunswick
This is the fourth time staying at the Daniel. It is always a wonderful experience, from check in to check out. The staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast simple and delicious with a nice view of the foier. The Costal Bistro is a great spot for a drink, dinner, dessert and live music. Phil Allen is an awesome performer - have seen him twice and enjoyed his performance both times. Plan to return again on the future.

Great food, bad rock salt
The Daniel was warm and welcoming upon my arrival with my two pups. The room was very clean and spacious and room servIce was good. The food from Coast Bistro was tasty and arrived to the room still warm and the continental breakfast was great. My only complaints were the loud fan in the room woke me up every hour (I'm a light sleeper) and the abundance of non pet friendly rock salt surrounding the pet friendly establishment. Both of my dogs stopped in their tracks while taking them out for potty breaks because of the salt. Also, when I checked out, the desk gal didn't bother to inquire about how my stay was, which is odd for a hotel.

Surviving the storm!
This was just after a huge windstorm in Maine. The staff was great, and someone mentioned that the hotel was giving discounts to people who had no electricity at their homes. A nice place to stay....

Best housekeeping I’ve ever experienced, so thankful that the Daniel values it’s housekeepers enough to have an envelope included in the room specifically for tipping them. Brunswick is the sweetest town, we really loved it. The Daniel was delightful. The staff was so sweet and accommodating, the food at Coast was delicious, and the private hot tub and sauna were just so luxurious— really the icing on the cake! The bed was a little stiff for my taste, but my partner had no complaints, and I have to admit I fell asleep quickly and slept soundly through the night so maybe I should be thanking the Daniel for that as well. In general, I wish the decor leaned in a little more to its historical background, but again, that’s my aesthetic taste and I’m sure not everyone’s. Overall, we really enjoyed staying at The Daniel and will be no doubt staying there again next time we visit Brunswick.
