Excellent Place to Stay in Paris
We loved this hotel. The room was spacious and had everything we could want including robes and slippers. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with lots of counter space. Easy access to many restaurants and cafes, not as close to the main tourist places, but it was a second Paris visit, so we didn't need that. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were only two things we weren't as happy about. We wanted to eat at the restaurant, but it was closed the first night even thought the front desk didn't know this and they were booked for the second night even though we tried to reserve in advance. We think there should be some space saved for hotel guests to book. The more important issue is that the billing of the hotel isn't well managed. We had prepaid the two nights, but I received an email (in French) that my card had been declined even though the charge had cleared our bank. I called and was told not to worry about the email. Then when we checked out early, we were charged for both nights, and since I hadn't been shown the bill charges, we didn't know until we were in the cab on the way to the airport. I had to wait until 9am to call, and the problem was handled efficiently, but they need better systems in place. Still I would recommend this hotel, just pay attention to charges.
