Aberdeen Lodge, Dublin
Very nice stay at Aberdeen Lodge -- nice breakfast, a beautiful clean facility and staff is very nice and attentive. Would happily stay there again -- good value for the money. Train station is a couple of blocks away, and 7 minutes to downtown Dublin, and the small upscale village area nearby is also nice and walking distance.

I quiet area in the big city
It had a great bed and was in a lovely neighborhood. There dining room was very lovely and the breakfast was good. The staff was most willing to help.

Very quaint. The staff was very attentive, the accommodations, while older, were quite comfortable. The location is in a residential area and a bit difficult to find. Once found, it's within easy walking distance of restaurants and other services. Access to a hop on-hop off bus into center city Dublin is within walking distance and works well for seeing the city.

Great lodge
I thought the place was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. We had room 26. The only thing I didn't like was when we were leaving the hotel to go to dinner, we were told we had to leave our key at the front desk and when we return we ring the bell to get back in the lodge and then they give us our key back. I just felt uncomfortable with them being able to access our room with us not being there or any other person in the lodge grabbing our key and going to our room. I thought Sandymount area was a great little town. The breakfast was awesome.
