$300 hold on your account as deposit - BEWARE!
WE have stayed here MULTIPLE times and this time we were accessed a $300 hold for the deposit!!!! ARE you kidding me?? It will be released in 2-3 business days but before I pay for a hotel on hotels.com again I would like to know that this is coming!!! I have never seen such a ridiculous dollar amount held - Hotel under renovations perhaps this is how they will pay for it. LAST time we will ever stay here.

Incredible value.
To start with, all 3 of the people I interacted with at the front desk were very pleasant and professional. We were just staying one night for a high school debate tournament and needed a cheap sleep. It was fantastic to have some hot food that night without going out, and a really good breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, plus all the usual cereal and bread things, and my personal favorite: waffles, in the morning before leaving. The food makes this a really unbeatable deal. AND the room is very up to date and was clean, with a nice fridge and microwave, and a good TV. Although there are some finishing details that remain from the remodel, the entire hotel will be just fabulous when they're done. Note that our room was already very nice, especially for this price. Surely it will be more expensive when they're finished, but hoping it will remain in the same range. Definitely will come back here.

Previous reviews about condition of hotel correct
Previous reviews have already addressed the conditions of the hotel based on their ongoing renovations. I'll admit that even reading them, I wasn't prepared for the state of the hotel when I arrived. However, I can say that the rooms themselves are nice, beds are comfortable and in-room amenities are good. The front desk staff is very nice, especially Renee & Nicole, who work in the morning. In addition to breakfast, they also serve dinner from 5-7pm. They also provide two free drinks coupons. The problem is the first night they were out of everything before 6:30pm and the second night they didn't serve until nearly 6:30pm. I think the contractors working on the hotel were the main consumers of the meals and made up most of the hotel's guests. The surrounding area has a lot of restaurants and I'm sure once the renovations are done it'll be a nice hotel. However, I felt like I overpaid for what they can presently offer their guests.

Worst Hoel Stay Ever
This was the worst hotel stay ever. I booked the room for a short in town stay with an indoor pool and free food and drinks. Well, the hotel is under major construction, that is not listed in their profile, so the pool and hot tub were closed and the rest of the place was in complete shambles. My room was clean, but the air didn't work unless I wanted heat, so the room was hot as heck. I was told at check in that the work would go no later than 6pm and would not start again before 9am the next morning. Well, they worked until after 8pm and I was woken up by an electric saw at 7am, so that was lame. I wound up checking out 2 hours early because of the noise. As for the food and drinks, dinner and breakfast buffets are offered as a perk as well as 2 free drinks with dinner. Sounds great right? Not so fast, dinner, if you want to call it that, consisted of grilled chicken strips soaking in butter, instant mashed potatoes with no gravy or butter available, vegetable soup with no bowls available, lettuce with ranch dressing and bar pretzels. The 2 drinks available were Bud Light or wine, 2 3ounce cups. Breakfast was better, with a full set up so I can't really complain about that. However, all of the construction workers are staying at the hotel, and these meals are what they get to eat as well, so I was made to feel as though I was stealing from them when I ate. I even heard one guy say that if I could afford to pay to stay there I should go pay to eat elsewhere.
