Skyline Hotel, New York

I love staying at the Skyline- staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable- beds are actually queen size (not full - as in other hotels)

Convenient location and staff was very nice, but smelly carpet in hallways, filthy elevators, weak and unsanitary coffee area, heating system did not function properly and overheated the room. Not worth the money we paid.

The room was incredibly hot when we got there, and turning the thermostat to cool produced only hot blowing air. But someone came up immediately and fixed it. The toilet squealed intermittently, and the floater had to be adjusted each time it was used. Other than that, reasonable hotel close to Times Square, with a great view.

This is a budget option on the far west side of manhattan . The place resembles a roadside motel from the 1970s and seems not to have been updated since then. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean and spacious. Also the location is convenient and surrounded by lots of food options. However, the hotel had lots of condition issues. My jets didn’t work and the entire lock had to be replaced . The closet door was off its track and wouldn’t slide open and the shower water pressure was extremely low. Also there was a musty “ old hotel room” smell. It was fine for a solo one night stay, but any longer would have been a little tough

It was ok. There was no coffee pot or microwave We were not told there was parking at hotel so we overpaid for parking nearby. The room next to us was very noisy like someone dying we called Front desk they said security will come up but yelling was off and on from 4.00 am until 12:00 noon when we left. Maid did call security again but to late we were leaving.
