Don’t bring your pet
This hotel is designated as “pet friendly” but has absolutely no facilities for pets to relieve themselves. We ended up in the mulch of the beds around the hotel for lack of any green space. When I inquired at the front desk, they said they would normally recommend going to the river but since it was after dark, probably wasn’t a good idea. Yikes. I was charged $100 fee for our dog for this one night stay.... more than most places... especially for such poor pet facilities.

Stay away
I booked my reservation while under the Radisson name and was completely surprised upon my arrival to learn it changed to Hotel Town Lake. My mom and I stayed here for Mother's Day weekend and, boy, what a huge disappointment. At the time of making the reservation, nothing was noted on about the complete overhaul in renovation this property was going through; nothing said the pool was closed; that the main floor lobby was reduced to 3 sofas off to the side of the entrance; no cafe or hotel restaurant. The only relief was the room linens and mattresses were very good and the room was clean. The front desk staff were friendly and provided a makeshift breakfast each morning. The construction yielded noise and gypsum board dust everyday; staff were diligently mopping floors to keep dust down but ceiling work was being down just inside the entrance. The hotel bathrooms are awfully designed. Water pressure was so strong that it was almost painful and the glass enclosure did not keep water in. The bathroom had no exhaust fan so the area would be full of condensation and the toilet is positioned so close to the counter that you only really have half the length of the countertop for useable space. Nothing provided to hang bath towels or toiletry bags. No outlet provided near the only other mirror in the room to expedite multiple guests getting ready. With 2 queen beds, if 4 people were in this space-good luck finding anywhere to put belongings. Just awful.

Serious renovations
The room was great, as well as the service. However the entire hotel is under serious renovations. The pool was closed, no bar or restaurant available. No guest parking, so I had to pay $27 a night for valet. Not worth the price. The renovations looked fantastic, but until it’s complete, really not worth the price.

Heavy construction
Doing heavy renovations and construction. Front desk kind of rude. Valet nice and professional.
