Hotel Andaluz, Albuquerque
Great hotel
A friend recommended this hotel and so I made a point to stay here. I was not disappointed. The staff was excellent and the room was lovely. I didn’t realize that this hotel is a “green” hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. I especially like it when green hotels skip the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner (which is always a waste of plastic for too little conditioner) and put reusable bottles of soap, shampoo, etc in the bathroom for guests. The downtown area and the restaurant and bar at the hotel are worth visiting. I’ll be back again soon

Beautiful Locally Owned Hotel
Great hotel. I was not a fan of the restaurant (had dinner there last stay, then happy hour and breakfast this stay). The food was just ok. Service for Happy Hour was spotty (we sat in the lobby lounge cabana area and our server ignored us for the better part of an hour after delivering food). Breakfast service was great, though pancakes were gooey. Rooms are very nice and clean. It is a "green" hotel, so the water pressure in the shower was abysmal. Also not enough light in the bathroom to put on makeup. And I could not figure out for the life of me how to turn off the AC/heater (it is too loud when sleeping). I am all for saving energy/water/environment, but just needed a little more "comfort" as well. But, I love the ambiance and decor of the hotel and the fact that it is locally owned and not a chain. The registration staff and the valet were awesome. I will stay here again despite my above complaints :)

Stayed there the night, the surrounding area can get sketchy during the evening but, it has plenty of bars and clubs. The hotel itself has most everything you need for a good time. Great place, will stay here everytime i visit if I can.
