The Sefton, Douglas
A let down
We haven't been to the island for 14 years and were looking forward to the trip. We chose what seemed to be the best hotel available. Considering the cost, the hotel was a disappointment. The double room was not a true double, but two single beds pushed together. The room was situated in the heart of the hotel away from daylight, and was next to a water fountain which dripped water all night. The noise of banging doors did not help either. Breakfast and the evening meal were good however.

In need of serious refurbishment!
Very disappointing. The hotel is run down and outdated and is not of four star quality.

The best on the prom in Douglas
We had to divert to Sefton after our flight was cancelled and we were forced to stay an extra night on the island. Tremendously impressed by the quality of the rooms and overall features of the hotel, which were a cut above the usual. Definitely glad to get to know this hotel.
