Great service breakfast was a flop
It was a good stay the bathroom needs to be cleaned better as there was hair in the bathtub and on the floor but the rest of the room was great and the location was perfect The service was excellent but they are also remodeling as they just bought this property the continental breakfast was terrible they need to really improve that this is why we almost always stay at a Best Western or Holiday Inn

A hotel in transition
The hotel is going through a rebranding. This was not indicated anywhere on the website ( or in the reservation confirmation. The physical address of the building is not displayed on the building. That, coupled with all branded signage being covered up, the hotel was not easily found. Clearly the hotel is in transition and shows sign of wear and tear. The room was clean, the water was hot, the TV worked and the door locked. The continental breakfast was sparse and moved rooms depending on the days events. The restaurant was closed due to remodeling, also not mention on website or in the reservation confirmation. My initial interactions with the hotel/staff where confusing and a little disappointing. All in all I booked this hotel due to its location, free parking and attached restaurant. I believe I would have still booked regardless of the remodel and rebranding if I had been informed before hand. I would have planned accordingly. Showing up in the dark in an unfamiliar town after a full day of travel with outdated information was not the best first impression. The staff were pleasant enough, but limited on their desire to want to interact with the guest. No conversations were initiated by the staff or any information about their remodel was shared even when prompted. There is room for improvement, but overall an unremarkable stay.

Not impressed
Picked this hotel because it was located on the river and had a restaurant/bar. When I arrived the restaurant/bar was completely shut down and the hotel had been bought out and was under new management. Oh, there is NO ELEVATOR!!! How can that meet the code for the disability act?
