Room was too hot; lowered thermostat but it didn’t help. Room was very small

I must have had the smallest room they offer. For what I paid I expected a room like the last time I stayed (when it was half the price...apparently prices were way higher this time due to homecoming weekend). The end of the bed was one foot from the wall and the tv was on the side wall, so I had to lie on my side to watch. I could also hear the couple in the room next door talking as well as their phone alarm going off...very thin walls. The bathroom sink was not wide enough to set my curling iron on and I had to put all toiletries on the toilet. I could not find a bathroom fan either so there was a lot of fog after showering. But, the service at front desk, coffee shop, restaurant and valet were all wonderful. And the decor is not to be beat. I just wish the room experience had been worth the cost.

I love UW, Madison and the Graduate brand. The staff is somewhat disengaged. Everyone can learn from Ritz Carlton. Nobody seemed to love their job. Lots of room to improve on service and guest care. But overall, I love Graduate Hotels

great design, fun vibe but small room
