Spacious, but lacks service
This place is incredibly spacious and could accommodate a large family easily. We had ample space with our family of six. It was obvious to us that they had rushed to have the place finished before we arrived, and I'm assuming we were the first guests. I stepped on a nail that had not been hammered into the floor completely, and there was also a box in the middle of the master suite that I believe had furniture in it that had not been unpacked yet. I called the management hotline (which is the correct word for it since it's in California), and they did send someone out the next day to fix the nail issue. I was displeased however that they did not acknowledge the severity of a guest stepping on a nail. Nothing was offered other than a trite, "I'm sorry about that, let me get someone out to fix it." It sounded more like they'd short-changed us a towel or something. Anyway, I felt like the service was lacking, and they should have waited to put the place up for rent until after it was completed. We felt relatively safe here even though we were skeptical when we pulled up and saw it was adjacent to an abandoned hospital. The streetcar is an easy 3-5 minute walk, so it was easy to go into town or to the City Park (really close, and awesome for young children).
