Some Greats and some really not so much!
The Gentlemen that checked us in on Saturday Jun 30th around 1pm was amazing! He was kind, giving and upgraded us to a suite for my birthday. The main pool was really busy and no where to sit or leave our belongings. There was a guy named Reese that was pretty unhelpful and had a less then appealing attitude regarding the pool chair availability. We went to the other pool side (more family friendly) and after 2 hours noticed security at the smaller pool and lots of little kids coming to the pool we were in. A irresponsible parent made for a poop pool. The bathrooms in this area were not kept up and somewhat gross. Maybe Reese should have been more involved with cleanliness then kerping time on unused chairs. Food was okay at the pool bar and breakfast was delicious in the restaurant. The room was nice, great bed and clean but didn’t have enough towels. Check out was smooth and lady that took care of checking us out was sweet and professional and the bar tender in the lobbybar was super hospitable. Checked out on July 1st around 1130am.

Nice place but pool way too warm
Hotel was remodeled and looked nice on the surface. Pool definitely could have been in better shape. Lots of missing tiles. Also it was way too hot given the outside temp. Wasn't enjoyable.

Good value for price. Good experience.
When we checked in the agent was very nice and helpful and the lobby was nice. The room was nice and clean. The pool area was nice. The hallways were a bit dirty and worn. The brunch on Sunday at resturaunt was just ok. The lobby area bar drinks, DJ and food was good. The only complaint I have is we requested a room overlooking the pool and we were told it was and had a pool view, but it was at the very end of the bldg over looking the "pool equipment" with big trees in front so there was absolutely no pool view. This room should have a note on it stating there is no pool view so agents don't think it does when it absolutely doesn't. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely go back to stay here and for the cost it was a good value.

Average
While the lobby area and pool areas are nice and updated, the rooms could use major renovations and a deep clean. They have also done away with the tennis courts and the trolley. Overall, this hotel is okay but I would probably try something else next time I'm in Palm Springs.
