Beautiful hotel. Fantastic breakfast, helpful staff especially Georgia. Close proximity to Train, Spanish Steps and Coliseum. Also a great Irish pub on the corner.

Disappointing conditions
3 night stay on vacation. The hotel was “fine.” I’d say hotel photos are misleading unless you’re maybe in a suite? My issue is largely this is a 3 star hotel, not 4. I’ve traveled extensively in Europe and this was not my first time in Rome, so I understand rooms are small. This room was a closet. The floors weren’t vacuumed while we were there once, and made our feet dirty if we didn’t wear shoes. There was hair in our bed, shower and bidet upon arriving that was not ours, and the bathroom was rundown. The AC and WiFi didn’t work well. Upon check out the front desk asked if we had a problem with the hot water. I replied yes, and she told me oh it was because everyone in the hotel was showering...isn’t this something hotels anticipate? Also, I had cold water the other two mornings I was there. There’s a bit of a walk for most of the attractions in Rome (but near the republica metro stop and Roma train station), and the hotel itself is across from an abandoned building. The only positive was the front desk was helpful for dinner recommendations, taxis, and restaurant reservations. I would not stay here again. Go if you expect 3 star conditions, not 4.

Charming hotel, great staff, good location
The hotel is centrally located near the Opera and the Repubblica Metro stop. It is easy walking distance to the Palazzo Massimo, Santa Maria Maggiore, and Musei del Terme. The Forum, Fontana di Trevi, and Spanish Steps are not much farther. The staff was wonderful--they booked museum entrance reservations for us and recommended great restaurants. The room was a little smaller than that found in some other hotels in the area, but the building is great and the location is too. It is close to all of the transport options in Termini but you are away from the rows of hotels, bad restaurants, and bustle of Principe Amadeo and the streets just next to the station. We come to Rome every 1-2 years and this ranks among the best 2 or 3 hotels we have used.
