Convenient to the Sights of Rome.
We loved our room at the Britannia. We had a spacious outside terrace. The staff were wonderful and the morning breakfast offered a nice variety to choose from.

Terrible hotel
Half of the exercise machines didn't work. The AC didn't keep the room comfortable cool. The room was expensive. There were only 3 English speaking channels on TV with no English subtitles. As previously mentioned the bed was uncomfortable to the point of not being able to sleep on it. The room didn't look anything like what was pictured on the internet. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We were on our honeymoon and booked a room with a terrace. The room was pretty small, as was the bathroom. Overall, the hotel was small but comfortable. The staff at the hotel was great and always very helpful! We had a small issue with our air conditioning but it was resolved on our last night. Breakfast was good for what it was, but nothing extensive. We really enjoyed the location and the hotel overall, but I think if I were going to spend what I spent, I would have stayed somewhere else for a more luxurious stay for our honeymoon. A bonus was that there was a great Irish pub across the street, the best gelato place, close walking distance to Termini Station and other spots. Would recommend for a quick stay in Rome if you're not planning on spending too much time in your room.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during part of our honeymoon. The hotel is several blocks away from Roma Termini and it was easy to walk to and from during our travels. The street that it's on, however, has a back alley-ish look to it and was a bit disconcerting initially. Despite first appearances, the hotel was very well kept. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was teeny tiny, and the bathroom was about 1/3 of the room itself. Despite the lack of square footage, the rooms are fairly comfortable and cozy. There is also a complimentary breakfast each day with a rather large spread of pastries, eggs, cereals, sausage, bacon, and fruit. Overall, the hotel is worth staying in, but we would likely stay in another area of Rome on our next visit.

Good Time in Rome
Room 306 was nice. It was bright with a large window and a large bathroom with a stand up shower. We also had room 106 which was like a dark cave. It was bad. They advertise that they have a bar, but they only have a couple of stools and some bottled beer and lower quality liquor. However the free breakfast and eating area is really good, the staff is very helpful and nice, the rooms are clean and the first round of everything in the fridge was free- which was really nice. The location is good- walkable to Soanish Steps, Trevi Fointsin, Colloseum, etc. good shopping and good restaurants in the area.
