Good for gamblers, not for sleeping
Historic hotel, with very small rooms and tiny bathrooms. Bathrooms need updating. Faucets in bathroom dripped all night. All the rooms are noisy at night with either noise from Fremont Street or extremely loud music from the hotel casino below. If you intend to sleep any from 8 PM to 4 AM stay somewhere else. If you are there to stay out all night and you aren't too picky about the room being less than clean this hotel is an OK, inexpensive option. There were several bus loads of tour groups with children staying at the hotel, and the children ran up and down the hallway much of the night. The Dupars restaurant at the hotel has a good reputation, but we didn't get to try it. We waited for the hostess to seat us for 15 minutes and she never even looked our way as she went by on her way to the cash register so we gave up and left.

A Touch of Old Vegas
I stayed in one of the room that had not been renovated yet. So although it was old which I really didn't mind, it was very clean. Over-all the room never got completely cool, it also would have been nice to have 4 pillows instead of 2 and the cold faucet in the shower was broken. Location great and staff was exceptional! I would stay again.
