Hendon Hall, North London
Excellent historic hotel
We had a lovely stay in this charming historic hotel The room was small but the friendliness of the staff and the homey feeling made up for it. We included the breakfast and the food was excellent It left nothing to be desired from fresh fruit, pasteries that were delicious and in addition to the full buffet, you could order from the menu. We were attending a Bar Mitzvah in the ara so it was a perfect place for us to stay

Good accomodation
The issue was the reception. Not very friendly. The waiters/waitresses were much more friendly.

consistently excellent
We stay at this hotel 3 or 4 times a year. Consistently excellent. Rooms are fine and bathroom is clean. Little touches like free bottled water in the fridge every day. Only downside is that it's a 30 minute walk to station.

How this hotel is going down hill fast
I have stayed at the hotel approx. 20 times over the last few years and have noticed the slow decline in the standards of the room service and equipment. Its in a great part of town for me and understood it was a local hotel but it has now reached the bottom. should arrange a urgent review of the hotel and facilities and see if they need to remove from offer. A few little points brown tape holding the windows together rust in the bath room 213 a leak in the resturant area no service at the bar and staff that are helpful but do not speak very much english. I would call this hotel the modern day Forty Towers !! Unfortunately I could not recommend anyone to stay there.

Great price for a good hotel
We really enjoyed our stay. We wish there was a tube station close by but anything else was great.
