Poor customer service
This is a beautiful property but due to issues with our room and the lack of resolution by management, our stay was miserable. The carpeting along the side of one bed was wet. The hotel was full so we could not change rooms. We were told if we vacated the room for several hours, they would try to dry it. Not an option as it was after 6pm. All night long there was noise from water dripping onto metal inside the wall where the AC unit was located resulting in a horrible night of sleep. We’re told that the problem was from a leak in the room above us. We asked for compensation on checkout and we’re told that we were already given a $50 certificate the night before to use at the restaurant. We were NOT given anything. No one knew why. Would not take anything off the room since we booked through hotels.com. They took off the $25 breakfast at the restaurant. Said we had to go thought them for a refund. We did and the hotel refused to issue a refund. Overall terrible customer service experience at the hotel - no accountability or concern about the customer’s experience. Planned to give us $50 compensation for their facility issues but then didn’t follow through even after I did exactly as they requested.

The Inn at Elon is nestled in the beautiful campus of Elon University. My wife and I were driving back to Atlanta from the east coast and just needed a place to stay around Greensboro. We were pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful facility to spend an evening. It is very quiet and the room is spacious, clean, comfortable. Room rate is very reasonable and it is one of the best hotels we ever stayed and will definitely come back again! It is also good to know we are contributing to student's scholarship by staying here.
