Pleasant stay
It is as very easy to find and checking was smooth. It was quiet and rooms were inviting. We were going to a hockey game and was so easy to walk the skywalk. Area restaurants were so close to get to. You have a very nice hot tub and pool area.

We originally checked into an America in in Mankato and it was a disaster it was totally under construction and got moved over to the Mankato City Center hotel which was 100% better it was clean the people were very pleasant and helpful the breakfast was good and it was a good experience

This is our go-to Hotel when we travel to Mankato. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and shopping within just a few miles. The pool is nice, the rooms are always clean, and the staff is very friendly.

Disappointing Stay
Hotel lacks at customer service. Upon check-in rep was not even warm and gave no information about any details of the hotel. However when I asked about the pool she was kind enough to warn me that construction was going on and beware of getting staples run through your foot while walking to the pool. The whole hotel smells of chlorine. It really should state somewhere this is an older hotel and all the rooms surround the pool area. Our room was freezing cold with only baseboard heat. We were unpleasantly awoken at 7am from the construction going on by the pool as we heard workers yelling to each other. The bedding was itchy which is likely due to their detergent/softener per manager. The furniture in the room although it was recently "remodeled" was very dinged up and there were rips in the chairs. Lastly, they're breakfast area looked less than food safe so we didn't even bother. Ultimately, I'd say you'd get an equivalent experience staying at a Super 8. Very disappointing and trashy. When I called the guest service manager to tell him about how bad it was he didn't seem to genuinely care but offered me half my money back.
