Nice hotel, warm staff, great breakfast
We were in Munich for 3 nights, 4 days and this hotel was well-located and had great service. We loved it! The staff were particularly warm and, considering we got engaged on this trip to Europe, they made us feel really special. The hotel itself was not bad - it's great for the price, and nice by European standards.

The gentleman who runs the hotel and was at the reception upon my arrival was very nice. It was a clean, comfortable room. One nice feature of this hotel - unique in my experience - was free bottles of carbonated mineral water for the hotel guests, available in a refrigerated case right next to the reception. There was also a room across from the reception where one could just relax with a cup of coffee or tea. I didn't take advantage of that. There are a number of good restaurants in the area. For instance, the Taj Mahal restaurant right next door serves wonderful Indian cuisine and has a nice staff.

Oktoberfest Home Base
We were there for Oktoberfest and the price gouge was on. If the price we paid was normal pricing I would have felt a bit ripped, however, the staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean (a bit dated) and it was an easy cab ride to most of the main attractions. The included breakfast was pretty standard for Euro hotels. Only complaint was that upon check out the host was very against me paying my bar tab with a credit card even after telling him multiple times that I'd prefer to pay by card. They accept cards so I don't see what the issue was and I had to burn all my Euros and go back to a money machine. Strange.
